The Norwich DAB multiplex will be changing frequency overnight on Tuesday 8 into Wednesday 9 September 2015. This is to allow the addition of two new transmitters: at North Walsham improving coverage in the town and along the A149; and at Daffy Green, bringing coverage to Dereham and the A47, as well as parts of Swaffham and Watton.
This frequency change won’t affect people who are listening on FM, MW, online or via digital television. This is a DAB frequency change only.
This frequency change will take place between 2200 on Tuesday and 0600 on Wednesday September 2015 affecting Heart, Capital, BBC Norfolk, Smooth, Xfm and Beach.
During this time DAB listeners will not be able to receive these stations.
If you have an alarm set to one of the affected stations you will need to use a different alarm system to wake up on Wednesday 9th September. The old frequency will be silent so you won’t wake up to the radio playing.
To continue listening to these stations after 0600 on Wednesday you will need to perform an auto tune on your radio.
